CUSTOM URL POLICY
Asset Owners can create a personalised web address to direct people to more information about their listing with a custom link.
Each address is valid only while the listing or account is active, and it may not work anymore if the listing or account is deactivated or removed from Onthelease for any reason.
You do not own your custom link, and upon any violation of this policy or Onthelease’s terms, Onthelease may terminate your use of it.
The following are prohibited for custom links:
- Any variation of the word 'Onthelease' or any other content that violates our brand guidelines
- The word(s) ‘verified’ and/ or ‘official’
- Unless sanctioned by the organisation, place or person with whom the connection is asserted
- Symbols or punctuation, except for hyphens
- Fewer than three characters
- Anything that violates Onthelease's Content Policy
- Consists only generic asset such as barbecue, camera, trail
- Consists only generic geographic locations such as Sydney Darling Harbour
- Consists only numbers (all links must contain at least one letter)
Some examples of acceptable URLs:

How can I create a customer link to show more about my listing?
To create or delete a custom link:
- Go to Profile > Listings
- Select the listing that you would like to create a custom link for
- From your Listing details, add the Custom link within the description box
Each listing is allowed to include one (1) custom link. This custom link allows Asset Owners to use professional tools to create a link to provide more information. Asset Owners must not divert traffic to another website that is not Onthelease or advertise commercially with the custom link.
