BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ASSET OWNERS
To help create welcoming and reliable experiences for Customers, we ask all Asset Owners to meet these basic requirements for each listing:
- Be responsive: Maintain a high response rate by replying to booking enquiries and reservation requests within 24 hours.
- Be clear with asset description: Once the asset is listed, it is published onto the platform immediately. Do not make any changes to the description or price once a reservation is confirmed. This is to ensure the Customers that they are renting an asset as per the description they have read.
- Accept reservation requests: Make Customers feel connected and welcomed by accepting requests whenever you are available.
- Avoid cancellations: Cancellations can affect your customers’ future plans. We ask all Asset Owners to avoid cancelling on Customers.
- Check item condition: The Asset Owner is responsible to check one’s asset 72 hours prior to or before the next accepted reservation or time of exchange (whichever is earlier). If the Asset Owner fails to do so, the Asset Owner may consequently receive bad ratings as a penalty.
- Maintain a high overall rating: Customers expect a consistent level of service quality.
Go to Performance to monitor how you are doing in each of these areas. Your performance is tracked against the average level of performance for all Asset Owners on Onthelease. Listings that consistently fall below the average could be subject to penalties.
