SERVICE FEE

To help Onthelease run smoothly as well as cover the costs of the products and services we provide, such as customer support, we charge a service fee when a booking is confirmed.

Fees for booking

A service fee is deducted from the payout of the Asset Owner, and a service fee is charged to Customers.

Asset Owner service fee

Asset Owners pay a maximum service fee of 8%. This fee is calculated from the booking total and is automatically deducted from the payout of the Asset Owner.

Customer service fee

Customers pay a maximum service fee of 12% of the booking subtotal.

Examples:

Asset Owner leasing an item for AUD 100.

Customer will paid Booking Total = Price of the item + Price of the item x Customer Service Fee

= $100 + ($100 x 12%)

= $112

Asset Owner payout = Leasing price – Booking Total x Asset Owner Service Fee

= $100 - ($112 x 8%)

= $100 - $8.96 

= $91.04

Super Membership

All Super Members will be able to enjoy a maximum of 3% discount on service fee as Super Membership level upgrades as displayed in the chart below. All Super Memberships will be reviewed on an annual basis. Learn more about Super Membership requirements from Performance. Simply put, you are required to maintain at least an overall performance of at least 4.8 and make sure your cancellation rate is below 1% throughout the calendar year (i.e. January 1st - December 31st of every year).
